Some Corvus Customer Feedback

Good afternoon gentlemen: This message is being sent to acknowledge the receipt of your Bradley Dive Watch #47, which arrived this afternoon. There's nothing I can tell you that hasn't already been said. Congratulations on a job well done and I hope you are both finding some time to relax and decompress (no pun intended) from your recent labors. Please let me know when you begin soliciting sales for your next project. Given the quality and attention to detail you have put into both your straps and watches, I can't wait to see what happens next.

The more I wear the watch the more I appreciate the simplicity of its design. In fact IMHO its most complex design element is its second hand and I really like the contrast between its short counterbalance and (relatively) lengthy "pointer", which has a somewhat unique silhouette. In combination with the fact that the second hand is the only movement one sees when looking at the dial, the contrast between its elements (pointer and counterbalance) has the effect of directing the eye from the pinion towards the pointer. I also like its legibility (indices being readily identifiable without being overbearing) and particularly like the plain simplicity of the manufacturer's nomenclature ("Corvus") and the understated U.S., which is all too uncommon these days and a very nice alternative to "Made in China"/"Mexico"/"Japan" etc.. Finally the more I think about it the more I become convinced that, the addition of a date window (even white on black and when positioned at 4-5) would be more of a design disruption than a benefit. How many times have we seen a classic car "improved" to the point where it was no longer attractive or related to its original design? My vote's to leave this design alone.

I picked up the watch today from USPS. The fit and finish are great and I adore the simplicity if the dial.

Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know my watch made it to me in today's mail. I am wearing it now. Was wearing my XXXXX today. Comparing the two, you sure have a winner. Not bad for your first watch! The case finish is so much more precise than that of the MkII. The contrast on your dial is orders of magnitude better. That black finish is definitely quantifiable. You truly have to see it in the hand to understand.

Watch arrived last week. Love it! . Nice size, not to bulky and not to heavy on the wrist. Question about the movement. seems that it has a hidden date mechanism and that it turns over at the 10 o'clock inside. just curios. when stem is pulled partly the date clicks can be heard. also when it turns over after a 24 hour cycle you can feel the date advance, but at the 10 time instead of the 12 hr.

Please email me when next model is in the works.

The G-10 Nato band arrived today. The shipping was super fast. My first impression is that this band instills way more confidence with respect to it staying on my wrist. It feels more durable and just as comfortable as the thinner model. So far I am very happy with this band. Thank you so much. You've got a winner here.

I received the watch today. Perfect! I love the new bezel and thank you so much for the original case back and the opener! I'm urging all of my collector friends to purchase a Bradley Diver. A great watch at any price.
